1
EVALUATIONS
A comprehensive evaluation is conducted when your child has not yet been diagnosed or treated with a communication an/or feeding difficulty. Evaluations consist of a combination of parent interviews, informal observation, and standardized testing. A full written report will then be provided detailing observations, whether therapy is warranted at this time, as well as treatment plans and strategies for caregivers to use to promote further development of new skills at home.
2
THERAPY
Speech, Language, and Feeding Therapy sessions enhance your child’s skills using various evidence based strategies and programs. All sessions are planned around your child’s individual communication goals and interests. Collaboration with caregivers, teachers, and other therapists is key to your child’s success; all therapy sessions are accompanied with parent coaching programs.

Orofacial Myofunctional Services
Orofacial myofunctional disorders are abnormal movement patterns of the face and mouth that may interfere with eating, talking, breathing, and normal growth and development of the muscles and bones of the face and mouth. Some examples include thumb and finger sucking habits, a routine habit of resting with the lips apart, a forward resting posture of the tongue between the teeth, tongue thrust, and other harmful oral habits. All speech/language and feeding services include an orofacial myofunctional component when necessary. Additional programs include: Thumb Sucking Elimination Program
